Privacy
Shop Site Awards collects only the information needed to operate the archive, understand which stores people find useful, and keep the site reliable.
Website analytics
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand general traffic and site performance. The site is hosted by Cloudflare, which may process technical information such as your IP address, browser, device, and requested pages when delivering the site.
Store view counts
When you open an individual store page, we count one view per visitor each day. To avoid counting repeat visits, the site creates a one-way identifier from your IP address, the date, and a private salt. We do not store your raw IP address in the view database. Daily identifiers are deleted after 45 days; aggregate counts are retained to operate the most-viewed lists on the site.
Images and external websites
Store screenshots are delivered through Cloudflare R2 and our first-party Cloudflare image service. Links to featured stores, CommerceGurus, Shopify apps, and social profiles take you to external websites with their own privacy practices.
